The YTH24K54 is Husqvarna's 54-inch yard tractor for properties between one and three acres — a Kohler-powered hydrostatic with a wide cut, an ergonomic operator station, and the Air Induction deck technology that defines Husqvarna's residential cut quality. Where the smaller YTH1942 makes its case on accessibility and the XD-series machines compete on slope-mowing, the YTH24K54 is built around the everyday tradeoff most acreage owners actually face: deck width versus storage footprint.

Power comes from a 24-horsepower Kohler two-cylinder OHV engine. Pressure-lubricated and equipped with an oil pump and spin-on filter, it delivers quiet, reliable power. Owners running the YTH24K54 on a typical weekly residential schedule will see oil and filter changes once a season — essentially the entire engine maintenance routine. Electric key start, automatic choke, and a regulated charging system handle cold mornings without operator intervention.

Power reaches the wheels through a pedal-operated hydrostatic transmission. There are no gears to shift and no clutch to ride. Two pedals deliver continuously variable speed control with the natural feel of an automatic car, letting you keep both hands on the wheel. Ground speed varies from a creep to roughly 6 mph, with reverse to about 2.9 mph for backing carefully out of garages and tight corners. Cruise control holds a constant speed across open lawn.

The 54-inch reinforced stamped steel deck cuts at six height settings between 1.5 and 4 inches via a fender-mounted lever. Three cutting blades work in parallel, with four anti-scalp wheels protecting the turf, and electric blade engagement turns the blades on and off from a switch on the control panel. Husqvarna's Air Induction technology draws air through the deck to lift grass blades for a cleaner cut and improved discharge dispersal. A deck wash port allows quick cleanup with a garden hose, and the deck accepts an optional Husqvarna mulch kit or rear bagger (sold separately).

Operator comfort centers on an ergonomic high-back seat, a step-through frame for easy mounting, a deluxe overmolded soft-grip steering wheel, an integrated cup holder, and a transparent fuel indicator. The dashboard layout is honest and minimal: ignition, throttle, choke, PTO knob, fuel gauge.

The chassis is welded steel with corrosion-resistant powder-coat throughout, and the fuel tank holds 3 gallons. The standard rear hitch accepts most popular tow-behind attachments — dump carts, broadcast spreaders, plug aerators, dethatchers, and lawn rollers all mount without modification.

For a one- to three-acre property where mowing time matters more than slope-traction features, the YTH24K54 is a well-balanced wide-deck tractor in Husqvarna's catalog. The combination of a 24 HP Kohler engine, a 54-inch deck, and Air Induction technology delivers a clean, efficient cut. Backed by a 3-year limited residential warranty.

Free curbside freight delivery to all states.

Your mower ships fully assembled and ready to run — not flat-packed, not "some assembly required." It arrives as a complete machine. There's no separate delivery charge, no fuel surcharge, and no fee for liftgate service. Free means free.

How long it takes

Most orders arrive in about 7–10 business days from the day you order. Large outdoor power equipment moves by freight carrier on a pallet, not by parcel courier, so the timeline is a bit longer than a small package — but it's honest. We'd rather give you a real date you can plan around than a fast promise we can't keep. If your timing is tight for a particular weekend or project, call us before you order and we'll give you the most accurate estimate we can for your zip code.

What the delivery day looks like

Once your mower leaves the warehouse, the freight carrier contacts you to schedule a delivery appointment — a window when someone can be home to receive it. This isn't a "leave it on the porch" delivery; freight requires a person to accept the shipment. The driver brings the machine to the curb or the end of your driveway on a liftgate. We strongly recommend taking a few minutes to inspect the mower before you sign — check for any shipping damage to the crate or the machine, and note anything on the delivery paperwork. In the rare event something arrives damaged, that signed note makes resolving it fast and simple.

Tracking and carriers

You'll receive tracking information once your order ships. We use established national freight carriers — R+L Carriers, Estes, XPO, and FedEx Freight — chosen for reliable handling of oversized equipment. If a delivery window ever slips or you need to reschedule, our team can step in and coordinate with the carrier on your behalf. You're never left to chase a 1-800 line alone.

Questions about delivery to your address? Call +1 (813) 214-2072, Mon–Sun 8am–7pm Eastern, and a real person will walk you through it.

You don't pay sales tax on this machine. Because we ship factory-direct from out of state, you will never pay sales tax — no exceptions. On a mower in this price range, that's typically a few hundred dollars that stays in your pocket — money a local dealer would have added at the register. On a $2,000–$3,000 machine, that alone can cover a season of fuel or a full set of attachments.

What you pay is what you see. The price on this page is the all-in price. There's no tax line waiting at checkout, no dealer documentation fee, no "assembly" or "setup" charge, no freight surcharge tacked on at the end. The number you decide on is the number you pay. We think that's how it should be — you shouldn't need a calculator to find out what a mower actually costs.

How dealer pricing usually works. At a traditional dealer, the sticker is only the starting point. By the time you've added state and county sales tax, a documentation fee, and sometimes a prep or assembly charge, the out-the-door figure can climb noticeably above the shelf price. Factory-direct removes all of those layers — you're paying for the machine, not the building it sat in.

No tax, ever. Unlike other sellers, we don't make exceptions for certain states or destinations. Your price is our price, from any address, every time.

Sparroo is a family-owned outdoor power equipment store based in Titusville, Florida.

We're not a faceless marketplace and we're not a dropship middleman who's never touched a mower. We're a family business that knows this equipment, sells the same trusted brands your local dealer carries, and delivers them factory-direct — so you get dealer-grade machines without the dealer-grade markup.

The brands we carry

Our catalog spans the names that have earned their reputation in American yards: Husqvarna, Toro, Ariens, Cub Cadet, Gravely, Bad Boy, Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, and Yard Force. Whether you're maintaining a quarter-acre lot or running a few acres on a zero-turn, these are the machines built to do it season after season.

Why we do it this way

A mower is a serious purchase — often a multi-year investment in your weekends and your property. We started Sparroo because we believe people shouldn't have to overpay for that, and shouldn't have to guess whether they're buying the right machine. By cutting out the showroom and the commissioned sales floor, we keep prices low and put the savings where they belong: with you. And because we're a small family operation, when you call, you're talking to people who actually care whether you end up with the right tool for your yard.

Talk to us before you buy

Not sure whether you need a riding mower or a zero-turn? Wondering if a deck size fits through your gate, or whether electric makes sense for your acreage? Call or email us. We'd rather spend ten minutes helping you choose the right machine once than sell you the wrong one and sort it out later.

Same machine. Same factory warranty. A better price.

When you buy from Sparroo, you're getting an identical, brand-new machine to the one on a dealer's showroom floor — backed by the same manufacturer warranty — for meaningfully less. Here's exactly why that's possible, and what it means for you.

Factory-direct pricing. No showroom rent, no commissioned sales floor, no regional distributor taking a cut. Every layer we remove is a layer you don't pay for — that's how we come in well under a typical dealer's price on the same model.

All-in pricing, no hidden fees. The price you see is the price you pay — no documentation fee, no prep or setup charge, no freight surcharge at the end. If sales tax applies in your state, it's shown clearly at checkout, never as a surprise.

Full manufacturer warranty. A lower price doesn't mean less protection. You're buying a brand-new machine covered by the exact same factory warranty you'd get paying full price at a dealer.

Free freight delivery. No delivery fee, no assembly charge, no hidden surcharge. Your mower ships free, right to your driveway.

Honest, no-pressure pricing. No bait sticker, no upsell at the register, no fine print. Just a fair price on a quality machine.

Real people, real help. We're a family-owned Florida business. Call us before you buy with questions, and after you buy if you need anything. You'll reach someone who actually knows the equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before you buy. Still unsure? Call +1 (813) 214-2072.

  • Do I really pay no sales tax?

For most orders, yes. Because we ship factory-direct from out of state, the majority of customers pay no sales tax. A small number of destinations may require tax to be collected — if yours is one of them, it's shown clearly at checkout before you pay, never added as a surprise. If you're unsure how it applies to your address, call us at +1 (813) 214-2072.

  • How much does shipping cost?

Nothing. Freight delivery is free to all states — no delivery charge, no fuel surcharge, no liftgate fee. The price you see is the price you pay.

  • How long until my mower arrives?

Most orders arrive in about 7–10 business days from the day you order. Large outdoor power equipment ships by freight carrier on a pallet rather than parcel courier, so the timeline is a bit longer than a small package — but it's an honest one you can plan around

  • Does the mower come assembled?

Yes. It ships fully assembled and ready to run. No flat-pack, no contractor needed — it arrives as a complete machine.

  • What happens on delivery day?

Once your mower leaves the warehouse, the freight carrier contacts you to schedule a delivery window when someone can be home to receive it. The driver brings the machine to your curb or driveway on a liftgate. We recommend inspecting it before signing and noting anything on the paperwork — in the rare case of shipping damage, that makes it quick to resolve.

  • Is the warranty the same as buying from a dealer?

Yes. You're buying a brand-new machine covered by the exact same manufacturer's factory warranty you'd get paying full price at a dealer. A lower price does not mean less protection.

  • Why are your prices so much lower?

Factory-direct. We don't carry the cost of a showroom, a commissioned sales floor, or a regional distributor's cut — and we pass those savings straight to you. It's the same brand-new machine and the same factory warranty you'd get at a dealer, just without the markup that pays for all the overhead in between. Want to see the difference on a specific model? The original price is shown right on each product page, struck through next to ours

  • Is Sparroo a real company?

We are Sparroo, a family-owned outdoor power equipment store based in Titusville, Florida and operated by S3 Stores, Inc. We sell trusted brands like Husqvarna, Toro, Ariens, Cub Cadet, and more. You can call or email us before you buy and you'll reach a real person who knows the equipment.

  • What's your return policy?

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on an unused machine in its original packaging. If something arrives damaged or defective, we cover return freight 100% and you choose a replacement or a full refund. For change-of-mind returns, the machine just needs to be unused and complete, and you cover return freight (we'll give you a quote before you commit). No restocking fees — you get back what you paid, minus return freight if it applies. Refunds are processed within 7 business days of us receiving the machine. Questions? Call (813) 214-2072.

  • How do I reach you?

Phone: +1 (813) 214-2072, Mon–Sun 8am–7pm Eastern. Email: contact@sparroo.shop. We're happy to help you choose the right machine before you commit.

Was worried about assembly, but it arrived mostly put together. Just had to attach the battery and check the oil. Started on the first pull. Cuts my thick NC grass easily and turns tight around my flower beds. Saved me $800 vs. the local dealer. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve had this Husqvarna for two seasons now. I mow about 1.5 acres of thick fescue every week, and it still starts up right away. The deck feels solid—no rust or bending yet. I did have to replace the air filter last summer, but that’s normal maintenance. For the price, the build quality is much better than I expected. It’s held up well against our humid summers here.

Used to spend 3+ hours mowing my 2-acre lot with my old tractor. This zero-turn cuts that down to about 75 minutes. The steering is super responsive around trees and flower beds. The high-back seat is comfortable for most of the run, though I do stand up briefly at the end to stretch — but that’s minor. Delivery was smooth, and it arrived well-packed. Very happy with this upgrade.

I bought this mulch kit for my Husqvarna YTH24K54 (54” deck). Installation took about 20 minutes with basic tools — just swapped out the blades and added the baffle. The difference is night and day: no more clumps of grass left behind, and my lawn looks healthier already. I mow twice a week in spring, and it handles thick growth without clogging. Only wish it came with instructions for non-mechanical folks, but YouTube helped. Worth every penny.

I live on a sloped lot in East Tennessee with uneven terrain and some rocky patches. This Husqvarna handles it surprisingly well — the electric diff lock really helps when climbing steep sections. I was nervous about buying online, but customer service answered all my questions before purchase (even sent me a video showing how to adjust the deck height). Delivery took 8 days, and it arrived mostly assembled. Only minor issue: the cup holder is flimsy, but that’s not a dealbreaker. Great value for the price.

I have Bermuda in the front and fescue in the back, so being able to adjust the deck height easily has been a lifesaver. The 24HP Kohler engine powers through thick patches without bogging down. I mow about 1.8 acres every 5–6 days during spring/summer. It arrived well-packed, and assembly was straightforward (took me ~90 minutes). Only thing: the manual could be clearer on oil type — I called support and they helped right away. Very happy with this purchase.

I run a small lawn care business on weekends and needed something tougher than my old residential zero-turn. This Gravely has held up great after 3 months of heavy use — mowing 4–5 properties per week. The Kawasaki engine starts every time, even after sitting overnight. Deck is thick steel, no flex under load. Only downside: it’s heavy, so loading onto my trailer takes two people. But for the price vs. dealer quotes ($1,200 less!), it’s worth it. Would buy again.

I have a 1-acre lot with lots of landscaping — raised beds, fruit trees, and narrow side yards. This Gravely ZT X 42 turns on a dime. I used to spend hours trimming around obstacles with my old tractor; now it takes minutes. The cut is clean even in wet grass (though I try to wait till dry). Assembly was easy — took about an hour by myself. Only wish the cup holder was deeper, but that’s minor. Great value for a compact zero-turn.

I bought this triple bagger for my Husqvarna YTH1942 (42” deck). Fits perfectly and holds way more than my old single-bag setup. I mow about 0.8 acres every week during spring/fall, and it handles thick clippings without clogging. The only learning curve is emptying all three bags — you have to unlatch them one at a time, which gets messy if you’re not careful. But once you get the hang of it, it’s a huge time saver. Worth it if you hate raking.

“I’ll admit — I used to dread mowing my 1.5-acre lot. But this Cub Cadet changed that. The controls are intuitive (no confusing levers), and the seat is surprisingly comfortable even after 90 minutes. It handles slopes well, and the hydrostatic transmission makes speed adjustments smooth. Only thing: the headlights could be brighter for early morning runs. But overall, it’s made lawn care feel less like work. Worth every penny.
