Warranty Information

Every Mower We Sell Comes with Full Manufacturer Warranty

When you buy a mower from Sparroo, you're buying the genuine, factory-fresh product — not a gray-market import, a refurbished unit, or a parallel import. Every mower we sell carries the full manufacturer warranty, registered and honored exactly as if you had purchased it directly from the brand.

We're an authorized seller for every brand we carry. That means your warranty is real, your serial number is registered, and the manufacturer will honor your claim.

What's Covered

  • Manufacturing defects — Any defect in materials or workmanship present at time of manufacture
  • Engine and drivetrain failures — Mechanical failures under normal operating conditions within the warranty period
  • Premature component wear — When components fail significantly earlier than expected under normal use
  • Electrical system failures — Wiring, switches, and electronic components that fail under normal use

What's Not Covered

  • Wear items — Belts, blades, filters, tires, and spark plugs wear out with use and are not covered after initial defect periods
  • Misuse or abuse — Damage caused by operating outside recommended parameters, overloading, or neglect
  • Unauthorized modifications — Any alteration to the mower not approved by the manufacturer
  • Commercial use of residential models — Using a residential mower for commercial landscaping voids the warranty
  • Normal weather wear — Cosmetic deterioration from outdoor storage, UV exposure, or corrosion from improper storage
  • Lack of maintenance — Damage resulting from skipped or improper maintenance (oil changes, blade sharpening, etc.)

How to File a Warranty Claim

We make the warranty process as painless as possible. Here's exactly how it works:

Step 1 — Contact Us First

Email contact@sparroo.shop or call +1 (813) 214-2072 with your order number, the serial number from your mower, a description of the issue, and photos if possible. We'll review and confirm you're covered before anything else happens.

Step 2 — We Coordinate With the Manufacturer

Once your claim is verified, we handle the manufacturer communication on your behalf. You won't need to navigate their customer service system alone. We'll submit the claim, follow up, and keep you updated.

Step 3 — Service Through an Authorized Dealer

Depending on the manufacturer and the nature of the issue, you'll be directed to the nearest authorized service dealer in your area. Most warranty repairs are done at no cost to you for both parts and labor within the warranty period.

Tips to Keep Your Warranty Valid

  • Register your mower within 30 days of purchase using the manufacturer's online registration system
  • Keep your purchase receipt — your Sparroo order confirmation email works as proof of purchase
  • Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual (oil changes, filter replacements, blade inspections)
  • Use recommended fuel and oil — wrong octane or oil weight can create problems that aren't covered
  • Don't modify the mower — removing speed governors, upgrading engines, or adding non-OEM accessories can void coverage
  • Store properly — especially over winter; a clean, dry storage environment prevents corrosion and damage that won't be covered
